Back from Himalaja directly up to Grindelwald (Switzerland): just back from the Annapurna Expedition 2008, Ueli Steck was awareded last Friday, May 20, 2008 with the Eiger Award 2008. With this award the jury will honour people who bring the value and the fascination of the mountains to the general public, because of their outstanding alpinistic performance.
